In this episode, we will dive into Apostle Paul’s first missionary trip to the cities of Galatia as well as the letter sent to the many churches brought up on their journey. A main reason Paul writes this letter to the Galatian churches is that they were succumbing to Jewish false teachings, undermining the central New Testament doctrine of justification by faith, by specifically teaching that gentiles must first become Jewish and submit to all Mosaic Law to become Christian. Paul wrote this letter to counter that teaching and to defend justification by faith alone.
