AMI was founded by Mr. Sikhumbuzo Mkhize and Mrs. Bonani Mkhize in March 2008. Over a period of 30 years prior, they have two diplomas from bible training, have served as Board members of a local church in Cape Town, served as senior leaders in a church in KwaZulu-Natal, as well as served in Prison ministry and International Prayer movement in Africa. AMI is a family of ministries with different assignments but with the same vision to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.

Esther and Joshua Generation
Esther & Joshua Generation is a ministry that seeks to train and mentor young women and men to be leaders for their generation, and role models for the generations to come. Using biblical values as its foundation, the ministry uses modular programs as a teaching tool that is suitable for school age pupils, women and men in the community and business. The teachings are designed to build values around truths such as God’s love, walking in the Spirit, faith in God, biblical wisdom, purity, and holiness. Leadership values like commitment, discipline and character are also taught, modelled, and practiced. The ministry of deliverance will help overcome past obstacles, build effective relationships, and prepare them for service and to enjoy an abundant life Christ promises.
