In this discipleship study, we learn about encouragement during persecution. Paul starts the letter by greeting the church together with his team and blessing them with the Lord’s grace and peace. Like the year prior, he commends them for their flourishing faith and growing love for one another. This was a church going through persecution since it started and during this letter, still going through persecution and hardships.
