While in Jerusalem, Festus hears the officials and high priests relate stories to him regarding Paul. Even after two years in prison, this Jewish pack was still out to kill him. They asked for Festus’ help to deliver Paul to them, which he refused as he wanted to first go to Caesarea to allow Paul to tell his own side of the story. We hear the grievous accusations against Paul as well as Paul’s rebuttal and opportunity to minister in this trial.
