This chapter picks up following a situation of civil unrest. Church leaders were dragged into public trials, accused of Apostle Paul’s preaching which caused businesses known for manufacturing idols, to lose work, as more people were being born again and no longer worshipping these idols. This was in the peak of a breakthrough, as the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ revolutionized the city and God’s kingdom was advancing – but Satan was trying his best to undermine that.
